God I'm depressed.
Maybe because it's Christmas, idk, but I just feel like I should be able to go to them and say hey, look, what's up. And be friends again.

do you really miss them, or the idea and memories of them, who they were when the friendships started. going back would be to walk through some muddy ground, do you really want to do that?
not saying you shouldn't, just be clear about the reality of trying those things.
